Review the Auction Property Listings
The auction listings are a sequentially numbered lot-by-lot listing of the auction’s product offerings set up in the order the auction will sell. You can find the lot listings here.

Browse the auction. Often there is more than one auction going on that same time; we call these “sale rings.” In the sale ring, items are grouped as they would be in a typical retail location, with similar items grouped in the general vicinity of one and other. You can sort by categories or you can search all auctions using the search box.
Proxy bidding is available one week prior to the live auction event. An online lot listing is in numeric lot number order, the order in which the auction items will be sold. You can also search the lot listing using the search feature on the site that will pull up any lot in any auction matching your key words. The lot listing can also be viewed by category, which acts as a high-level locator of items and provides the viewer with additional resources to find items. (For example, “2013 BMW” would be located in the “Vehicles” category).
Important Information Regarding Online Auction Item Preview
Each lot in an online auction has a written description that provides pertinent information regarding the product that is being offered. This includes name brands (if available), manufacturers and model numbers. Certain lots may be described via medium type – i.e., walnut, porcelain, crystal, glass, etc. and many include dimensions. Furniture is described by type, style, wood type, and dimensions.
Descriptions do not include condition statements, as lots are not tested. US law governs auction sales, and all lots are sold “as is, where is.” In short, “as is” means there is no certainty that the lot will be in working order and “where is” means the buyer is responsible to remove the lot from the location where it was sold.
Please note that there are no refunds or exchanges on purchased items. All sales are final*
*Exception to No Refunds: American Auction Company stands behind its product descriptions; however, we make no statement of condition. For example, if we represent an item as a “Sony” laptop computer and the lot is instead a “Sanyo” laptop computer, we will provide a refund if the original item is returned within a week of purchase.
