This person must use common sense and good decision making skills. In addition to offering outstanding customer service, candidates need to have a strong work ethic and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should have a strong desire to grow and succeed. Succeeding includes making at least 80 outbound calls per day. This successful Salesperson will make outbound calls and conduct business presentations over the phone from leads that we provide. That means using stellar phone communication skills to lead discovery sessions that demonstrate the unique potential of our services and scope prospect requirements. We are hiring to staff Saturday and Sunday live auction events and week day product load out and Auction Preview as well.

This does not mean you will work every weekend, nor would you work both weekend days in one weekend, unless you desire. We would love for our weekend Part-Time employees to enjoy the experience and compensation enough to make the employment long term. Our schedule is printed in advance. Once hired, if there are weekends you would not be available, let us know one month in advance and you will not be scheduled. We have auction load out on Sundays after a Saturday auction, Sunday (noon – 5pm) Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Wednesday until noon). Load out Staff work in the Warehouse gathering product for Buyers. Forklift experience is great for Sunday-Wednesday load out. We provide training for each type of position and will provide polo shirts with our Logo to wear on auction day. Employees must provide khaki slacks/shorts and closed-toed shoes. We will train employees for one or more of the positions listed below. High School Part Time employees can work load out (see below); however, will not be asked to perform security and handle firearms or forklift driver due to insurance requirements. The successful candidate would arrive for a Saturday auction at 7:15 am and a Sunday auction at 11:30 am, and for a Sunday Load out schedule at 11:30 am. Typical hours required on an auction day vary from 7-9 hours typically. Weekend jobs guarantee at least four days per month; however, will not include two day weekend work every week. Schedules are available one month in advance and will be sent via email. The schedule is also available on our employee web site. Positions available for training include:Auction Day Product Control:The successful candidate would be responsible for blocking the physical areas of product already sold during an auction to inhibit the tampering sold items and prevent loss. (Saturdays-Sundays based on auction schedule) Cashier:The successful candidate is detail oriented, focused, and has previous cashiering experience and is able to balance a cash drawer. Satisfactory credit returned on background check. (Saturdays-Sundays based on auction schedule) Clerk:The Clerk records the item description, consignor identification, buyer's bidder number, lot number, and the hammer price for every item sold at a sale. This function requires focus, accuracy, and attention to detail. (Saturdays-Sundays based on auction schedule) Forklift Driver & Load Out:Assists Buyers in loading purchases of pallet and large items. (Saturdays-Sundays, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (until noon Wednesday) based on auction schedule) Security and Check Out:The auction Security Staff ensures that items do not leave the facility unless the item information appears on a paid invoice that must be available when the Buyer is ready to leave the auction.
